to determine if Art2C's Duo-Novels will be released in either Screen tone only or both Color and Screen tone.
Full Color Edition
Full Color Edition:
- Realistic Hair Coloring
- Realistic Eye Coloring
- More Shading added
- Textures added and shaded
- Colored Line-Art
- Always Hardcover
- Printed on Silk paper or HVO white
- Book will have a reading ribbon
- Book will be released with a high quality bookmark
- Full Color version will at least be 3x as expensive.
* Special: Interest in the Color Edition opens the possibility of a release for Limited Editions in the future.
- Celebration poster that is planned to be released as a celebration of the first ever book release, will only be printed and released with either version, if the color edition is planned to release.
This poster will be Gold foil Duotone with the Black Velvet texture background of *Daphne's Memoir book on a pearlescent effect type paper (A3).
- If the interest in a Full Color is not high enough at this moment, there will not be any possibilities given in the future.
Standard Edition
Standard Edition:
- Less Shading
- No added textures
- Simplifies shading
- Always Softcover (paperback)
- Printed on Romanpaper or BioTop
- No reading ribbon/No bookmark
- No celebration poster, if the Color Edition is off the table
- This edition will be made/released regardless of the interest for the color edition.
So the Standard version is not a choice. This is to vote whether there will be two editions or just this one.
Your vote will determine the future of a possible Full Color version.
The downside to a Full Color version is that it will take longer before a book is released, because the coloring techniques used by Art2C require time.
The upsides are endless though. The characters show more life, more emotion and they look more realistic, which fits best with Art2C's Semi-realistic art-style.
There are also more details added, such as textures, that will be removed from the standard edition.
The release of a Full Color version also opens the possibility of amazing future Limited Editions, which is Art2C dreams of and is already exploring all possibilities.
For the current book that would mean a full velvet fabric cover with Gold foil duo-tone art, and gold gilded edges over all the pages, and an added reading ribbon in the color of the cover, creating the feel of an authentic memoir.
If the interest for the Color Edition isn't sufficient enough, Art2C will focus on a Standard Edition only. The upside is the books will be done sooner.
However keep in mind when casting your vote.
Insufficient interest in a Color Edition now, will result in a permanent absence of a Color Edition ever.
